BIG FISH PERFORMANCE TEAM PHILOSOPHY AND GUIDELINES
Development and arm care first, wins and losses second.
At Big Fish, we'll follow the MLB Pitch Smart guidelines whether tournaments call for them or not. This may mean sacrificing wins and trophies to make sure we take care of our athletes. We believe in players playing multiple positions and all of our players on youth teams are pitchers.
Our teams abide by these core principles:
When we are at our BEST...
We Run on the baseball field, always.

Our teams abide by these core principles:
When we are at our BEST...
We Run on the baseball field, always.
- We sprint on and off the field, we run out every ball to or through first base, if we hit a pop up, we try to touch first base before it drops
- When we are frustrated, that other team doesn’t get to know.
- Umps make bad calls, Balls take bad hops, We are not perfect - so what, now what?
- How many outs are there? Who has the base? Where is the next play and what are my jobs?
- We encourage each other by name and pick up our teammates
