Our Training Philosophy
We believe our local athletes can train at the highest, data-driven level and still get to compete with their friends on their hometown spring and summer teams. Our coaches are committed to developing athletes as hitters, throwers, and great leaders and teammates as part of the Big Fish Baseball & Softball family.
Each spring, our athletes will go back to their hometown teams to Do Damage and Lead!

Feedback, Communication, and Support
We believe in training blocks of 6 weeks at a time, and our coach to player ratio for a typical training session will be no more than 1:6, giving our athletes the individual attention they need to help them accomplish their goals.
Want to throw harder? Hit the ball harder? Let's make a plan for that! Our goal is for our athletes to fall in love with the competitive, fun training environment. Falling in love with training, with setting goals and then competing with themselves to reach those goals - that’s a habit that will carry them far beyond athletic success. |
Data Driven Individual Programming and Coaching - that’s fun!
Within each athlete’s individualized programming, we believe in tracking data as feedback and communicating that feedback out.
Using the technology like Mustard, Pocket Radar, and Blast Sensors, each six weeks we test our athletes to show progress and reassess goals. With pre-and-post testing, we’ll assess athletes to monitor progress and share that with athletes and their families. This approach is motivating for both kids and adults and ensures that our training is producing the results that athletes deserve. |
