High School Off-Season Hitting Program at Big Fish Performance

Baseball Hitting
Tuesdays - 3:15pm (Group 1) and 4:15pm (Group 2)
Saturdays - 11:00am (Group 1) and 12:00pm (Group 2)*
Softball Hitting
Thursdays - 3:15pm (Group 1) and 4:15pm (Group 2)
Saturdays - 1:00pm (Group 1) and 2:00pm (Group 2)*
(*Weekend times tentative - we’ll try to best meet the needs of the group)
Goals of the program
Velocity and breaking ball training using the Hack Attack and Jugs machines
Training on hitting approach and the mental side of hitting
Bat speed and exit velocity training
Use of Rapsodo profiles and hitting data/metrics
Structure of the program
Trainings and program overseen by UWRF hitting coach Brian Giebel and additionally staffed by Big Fish Performance coaching staff

- Velocity development
- Pitch design
- Mental side of pitching
- Pre-Season ramp up
Structure of the program
- Tuesday and Friday trainings and program overseen by UWRF pitching coach Weston Lombard (2024 Tom House Instructor of the Year) and additionally staffed by Big Fish Performance coaching staff under Lombard’s oversight
- Pitchers may also have “homework” responsibilities between sessions and will have access to the facility as necessary

Off Season Hitting and Pitching - Winter Sport Athletes
For hitters and pitchers playing a winter high school sport, we may be able to create some early morning, later evening (8pm), or weekend-only groups and programming based on need and interest. Please inquire by email at [email protected]

High School athletes can also train by request with our two partner organizations, B. Giebel Hitting and Kaizen Pitching, out of our facility at 1177 South Wasson Lane in River Falls.
