Team Options and Player Development
Options will exist for players to do only fall, or only spring, at the discretion of our Big Fish Performance coaching staff. Ideally, we would like players to commit to both the fall and spring seasons as well as spending some time with us in the winter - a year's worth of development. That said, we know our athletes have other commitments in the fall and spring - the best way we support multi-sport athletes is by not penalizing them for missing sessions.
Players will be placed on either the Elite Team or the Developmental Team for the season. Our developmental teams will have a different fall season, given the un-tiered approach to fall tournaments in the area. Those athletes will then compete together on our Big Fish Select teams in the spring.
While we don't have full year youth teams - we love that our youth players stay with their community teams in the summer - we are happy to offer a full year's worth of baseball development!
